Qualia reels are designed by the Qualia staff to produce a very high quality reel at a competitive price. The founder, Jack Young, spent 43 years designing and building fishing reel components for other companies, including Abu Garcia, Penn, Zebco, Shakespeare, Avet, Okuma, and others.
Qualia staff have been granted over 35 patents on their reels and continue to introduce new models to the Qualia line of products based upon feedback from the fishing community.

Qualia Service and Sales was founded in 2015 to establish complete service, sales and marketing based in the USA, including development of new models of Qualia brand fishing reels. Since 2015, Qualia Service and Sales has added five new model reels to the Qualia product line.
Qualia staff regularly attend and exhibit at premier boating shows in Florida and other premier events, including ICAST. The Qualia product line of reels are exhibited in the Qualia professional booth at these events.

Qualia reels are manufactured using high-quality aircraft aluminum 404 stainless steel that is heat treated. In addition, they are treated with two processes to control electrolysis, provide corrosion protection for the conventional gears, shafts, stainless steel fasteners, and brass components.
All Qualia spinning reels are also powder coated for a long durable life. The drag material used in Qualia reels is carbon fiber or very high temperature rated Teflon on our larger reels.
Qualia Service and Sales has an extensive inventory of parts to service every reel that Qualia has sold since 2005 at their service facilities in St. Petersburg, Florida.

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
Qualia and Water 4 Fish share a commitment to the conservation of our natural resources, and we agree that huge areas of our coastal environment should not be off limits to responsible fishing. Water 4 Fish is an organization that represents the interests of fishermen and wildlife supporters as California restructures its water policies. The goal is the recovery of our fisheries in this state.
WARRANTY
We warrant to the original purchaser that our reels will be free of defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase. If something breaks, we’ll either repair or replace the reel. The full warranty is on a PDF and can be found on each of the product pages. After the warranty has expired, our Service Center can help with any equipment issues.
