What type of reel should I use?
The first thing you need to consider is the weight of your rod. If you want to fish in a small stream, then a light-weight spinning reel will work just fine. However, if you plan on fishing for more than two hours at a time, then a heavier reel is required.
What's the difference between a spincast reel and a spinning reel?
A spin cast reel is the simplest reel on the market.
1. It has a spool that is enclosed with the line on the spool.

3. It has a drag control, (pressure to stop the line going out)
4. Launch (start) button.
5. Press the launch button and the line will go out of the reel
6. Turn the handle and the line stops going out and the drag control now works.

Spincast Reel
A spinning reel has more parts and more steps to cast the line out and bring it back in.
1. A spinning reel has the line on a spool like the spin cast
2. It also has a handle that can be used for right or left handed people
3. It has a drag control in the center of the line spool
4. It has a 3/4 arced piece called a bail, that takes the line to the spool that revolves as you turn the handle.
5. To let line out, you must pick the bail up until it locks into place, and then swing the rod to send the line out. When the line is out as you want it, you close the bail and then start to turn the handle to bring the line back on the reel .

What's a level wind reel?
A level wind reel is a type of bait casting reel that has a line guide that moves back and forth in front of the spool that holds the line. The line guide allows the line to be evenly distributed across the face of the spool minimizing any line buildups, snags or line crosses. This is very important for braided line which does not naturally follow on a spool like monofilament line.

Qualia Corporation warrants to the original purchaser that this reel will be free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase.
What voids the warranty?
The warranty will be considered void if the reel is found to have been subjected to unauthorized alterations, abuse, or has been damaged by your failure to provide necessary and reasonable maintenance.
